  • (science/research) work as collective work
  • collective work based upon consent
  • collectve work for the common good ,
  • the good is/as therapeutic - calcuable probablilities to alleviate disease
  • hope production - "political economy of hope" (Rose and Novas, 2005)
  • hope-enabling work requires renumeration (via patents)

Human capital disabled

  • ethics, politics, economics contextualized, "authored"
  • individual/singularity foregrounded
  • non agreement with such work is based on public ignorance
  • work for vested interests, the "not-so-many"
  • interests are political, economic, ideological (often faith-based),
  • surplus value production
  • surplus production often deemed unnecessary, unethical
